Is FindEventHire free to use?

Yes. Browsing suppliers, searching, and contacting any listed business is completely free for anyone planning an event.

How does FindEventHire make money?

Suppliers can choose to pay for a Featured or Premium listing to get more visibility, and we offer a single sponsored placement on the homepage. Free listings and browsing are never affected by this.

Why is my business listed even though I never signed up?

Some listings are compiled from publicly available business information, such as a business name, category, and contact details, to help people find suppliers in their area. If you find your business listed, you're welcome to claim it for free, correct any details, or request removal at any time.

How do I claim my business listing?

Open your listing and click "Claim this listing," or use our Contact page and tell us which business is yours. Claiming is free and lets you add photos, a description, and your website link.

How do I get my business removed from FindEventHire?

Contact us with your business name and we'll remove the listing promptly. There's no fee or process beyond a quick message.

Are the suppliers on FindEventHire vetted or verified?

FindEventHire is a directory, not a booking or inspection service. Where shown, a Verified badge means we confirmed a business's registration status against a public register, not that we've reviewed the quality of their equipment or service. Always do your own checks before booking, as you would with any supplier.

Which areas does FindEventHire cover?

We're actively adding UK cities, currently including London and Manchester, with more being added regularly. If your city isn't listed yet, you can still add your business or get in touch.

What's the difference between a Free, Featured, and Premium listing?

Free includes your basic business details and one photo. Featured adds top placement in your category, more photos, and your website link. Premium adds homepage rotation and visibility across multiple relevant categories. Full details are on our Pricing page.

Can I request quotes from multiple suppliers at once?

Yes. Use our Request a Quote form to tell us about your event. We manually review each request and forward it to a small number of relevant Premium suppliers, who will contact you directly.

How is my information used if I contact a supplier or claim a listing?

We only use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry or update a listing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
