  • Business listing information: business name, category, address, phone number, and website, either submitted by a business directly or compiled from publicly available sources.
  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, business name (if provided), and message content, submitted voluntarily through our Contact page.
  • Analytics cookies: only after you accept them via our cookie banner, used to understand overall site usage in aggregate, not to identify individuals.
  • Payment information: if you purchase a paid listing or sponsorship, payment is handled entirely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store card details ourselves.
  • Sponsor/advertiser information: if you purchase the homepage sponsor placement, we collect the business contact details and promotional text/link you provide us to display it. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party ad networks in connection with the sponsor slot.

2. Why we collect it

To operate the directory, respond to enquiries, process paid listing upgrades, and understand how the site is used in aggregate.

3. Third parties

This site is hosted on Netlify and uses Netlify Forms to process contact and listing submissions. Paid listings are processed via a third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Retention

Listing information is kept for as long as the listing remains active, or until removal is requested. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to the relevant enquiry.

5. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, including removal of a business listing. Contact us via our Contact page to make a request.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies required for the site to function are always active. Optional analytics cookies are only loaded if you accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit; you may decline them at any time.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
