Terms of Service

Effective from July 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FindEventHire website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What this service is

FindEventHire is a directory that helps people find event and party rental equipment suppliers in the United Kingdom. We list business information submitted directly by businesses or compiled from publicly available sources, to help visitors find relevant suppliers.

2. Listings compiled from public sources

Some listings on this site are compiled from publicly available business information rather than submitted directly by the business concerned. We take reasonable care to keep listings accurate, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any listing. Business owners may claim, correct, or request removal of a listing at any time by contacting us, and we will act on such requests promptly.

3. No warranty regarding listed suppliers

FindEventHire operates as a directory only. We do not vet, inspect, certify, insure, or otherwise guarantee any supplier listed on this site, the quality or safety of their equipment, or the outcome of any booking or transaction. Any agreement, booking, dispute, or contract arising from use of a listed supplier is strictly between you and that supplier, and does not involve FindEventHire.

4. Verified badge

Where displayed, a "Verified" badge indicates only that we confirmed a business's registration status against a public register (such as Companies House) at the time of verification. It is not an endorsement, a quality guarantee, or a safety certification.

5. Paid listings

Paid listing tiers (Featured, Premium) provide enhanced visibility on the Service, as described on our Pricing page, and nothing more. Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until that date. No refunds are provided for any unused portion of a billing period.

6. Homepage sponsorship

We offer a single, exclusive, clearly-labelled "Sponsored" placement on our homepage, available to any relevant business, including businesses that are not themselves listed suppliers. Sponsorship is a paid advertising placement only. It does not constitute an endorsement, review, or verification by FindEventHire of the sponsor's products or services, beyond the fact of the paid placement. Sponsorship terms (price, cancellation) follow the same terms as paid listings in Section 5.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Service or any listing is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including any loss arising from your dealings with a listed supplier.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false or misleading information, attempt to disrupt or misuse the Service, or use contact information obtained through the Service for unsolicited marketing.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
